Getting Back On The Right Track

Standard

It has been quite some time since dubLUDO, and our last update. Since then we have been working hard on the development of Six Shooter Saloon with as much of the feedback that you lovely people have given to the project.

The feedback was constructive and helped with the gameplay, but we also received some input and suggestions to the project and that was fantastic for us.

There were plans for a point and click mechanic, this would open up the world of Six Shooter Saloon for the players to explore. A map would have been available for the player to travel back and forth between Points of Interest with. The player would have needed to gather bounty rewards. The bounty accumulated would have been used in the act of cleaning up the torn-up town with small acts such as rebuilding the water tower, or paying to have a train station installed. Bounty rewards would also be used within a shop or a tavern. The shop would be available as a means to buy and upgrade guns and bullet effects.

These were just a few of the ideas that came about and they seemed to make sense at the time of implementation. The game was being developed and played on the laptop so why not, right?

Wrong. We lost sight of the original vision for the project. We have had to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Almost quite literally.

We will have to do our best to get the Six Shooter Saloon project back on the right track again and continue on with what is best for its development.
